Blog Stats

Do any of you other bloggers use a stats thingy to see how many people read your blog? If so, what do you use and how do you install it?

I've looked at Google Analytics and, frankly, didn't understand a word of it.

It has to be very VERY easy for me to use, so bear that in mind.

I know what you mean about the Google stats thing, I got as far as setting up the account but couldn't understand how to include it in the blog itself. I use the same one that Martin Scott uses as it was easy to install.

In blogger you go to layout and add a gadget and I think it was add a html/java script.
As mentioned I use clustermaps - it also makes it interesting to see where people comment from - I like the piccy part not just the numbers... if you want some help with that I might be able to point you in the right direction.

Enjoying reading all your musings.
Thanks for the feedback people! I'm going to try the clustermaps option. It seems simple enough and their instructions are very clear.

However, Blogger have put a page up saying that they want to upgrade my template and any customisations I've previously made will be lost! So I can't add clustermaps until I've done that!Aaaarrrggghhhhh!!!!!

I'll wait until I feel up to it ...
